We discuss the current state of nuclear energy in the United States (a complicated way to boil water), what the future holds in terms of innovation, public policy, and the priorities of the Office of Nuclear Energy, including small modular reactors, advanced Gen IV reactors, new chemical processes, clean water, flexible electricity generation, hydrogen production, and other industrial applications. We chat about the implication of the array of subsidies from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act and how they will underpin tens of billions of dollars of capex in the next decade.
